This post was a long time coming...It's been a horrible 6 weeks. Now that I am broke from every test in the book and bruised from so many missed IV's and "successful" IV's and from getting stuck in the neck for the biopsy, I finally ended up with a FABULOUS result of "It's not cancer" And since I had a total body PET I can now say the Melanoma is completely gone and I am cancer free. I am doing a happy dance about every 5 minutes! Ok, so for those of you that I kept in the dark about all this (I did so not to worry you)I started out with a lump in my neck and had to wait 3 weeks to get on the insurance at work and get in to the Doc. Then there was another lump just above my right clavicle and it was another week until the first CT, chest X-Ray and blood work. They found a mass in my left chest and 3 nodes in my neck that were enlarged. Then waiting another week until the PET. The PET came back negative in my chest (just a granuloma) but my neck glowed from the 3 nodes. So then ANOTHER week and a CT guided biopsy later, I got to wait for the results. Found out yesterday they were negative. All this worry was probably just caused from something auto-immune, likely just arthritis... but who cares! It isn't those damn psycho cells again! This whole thing made me feel like a hypochondriac and I am so relieved and happy I just want to go out and drink, or dance, or yell or something. But no, reality is I am on day 2 of a 6 day stretch of 12's and then 3 days off and I do 6 more. But that's ok because that's life and the way things are these days I am fortunate to have a job and MY HEALTH!!!!!!!

Lisa is getting ready to leave us. Sad. It sure has been a pleasure getting to know her. We have had a lot of good times. Diana and Jen will miss her as much as all of us at work. We wish you well Lisa and YOU BETTER KEEP IN TOUCH!

Hey there friends and family! Sorry I haven't been available lately, been very busy at work, going in early and getting off late. I have been working on the Halloween slideshow for 5 days in little 20 minute or so blocks of time. I thought I had the first one ready and posted it. Well its not ready, there are several problems with it as you will see. As soon as I can I will fix it and get the rest of the pics on here. It was so nice to see everyone over Halloween weekend. Hope it won't be as long until the next visit. Till then..........
